Waterskiing

With our top-notch instructors, we offer comprehensive two skiing and slalom lessons, this classic sport is coming back into style and is easy to get started and exciting to advance in.

  • Two skiing is typically where beginners start. Two skis provide stability and make it easier to get up on the water. Instructors focus on teaching proper body positioning, weight distribution, and balance. Once comfortable, learners can progress to deeper water starts and learn basic maneuvers like carving turns and crossing wakes.

  • Slalom skiing involves using a single ski and carving across wakes then later advancing to a course where skiers navigate through a series of buoys while maintaining speed and control. Lessons focus on mastering the single-ski technique, including getting up on one ski or dropping from two from a deep water start, edge control, and maintaining balance at higher speeds. Advanced techniques include carving around buoys with precision and efficiently navigating the slalom course.

Safety is our utmost priority at Kasota and our instructors are trained with skill gauging techniques to keep you and your kiddos from overdoing it out on the water.
